West Caldwell, NJ, August 20, 2009 : CTC International and EMIS Ltd. of Poland announce a strategic partnership regarding the sale and production of CTC's Label automation products in Europe.
EMIS will display CTC's new VTR "Value Turret Rewinder" at the Label Expo Brussels show Hall 11 stand R90 from September 23rd - 26th 2009. The Turret Rewinder will wind web nonstop from the Flexor 380C+ Slitter Rewinder, which is also a value priced machine. The combination of the CTC Value Turret with the EMIS Flexor model slitter rewinder is a natural fit providing a total value package to the label manufacturer says Rich Herbert; CTC's VP for sales
Additionally, EMIS will assume sales responsibility for CTC's line of label automation products for Eastern and Central European Countries, including Poland, Czech Republic, Greece, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary, Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia, Ukraine, Belarus, Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Serbia. It is expected that the Turret Rewinders will be offered in both right hand and left hand designs.
EMIS, a manufacturer of the FLEXOR Slitter Rewinders, is anticipated to begin manufacturing the CTC designed Turret Rewinders and Splicers at their factory in Lodz, Poland in the near future. The machines will be converted to metric design and will incorporate more locally sourced components to better serve the European market.
