For cases where the web widths are wide and the spindles are of small diameter, CTC offers the outboard support live center turret rewinder series. These machines combine the ease of use of the cantilever design with the strength of the double end support design. At the winding and cut positions, the spindles are outboard supported on centers. When the machine cuts and indexes into the winding position, the live center follows the spindle up to that position. The live center which was on the winding spindle drops out, and picks up the new cut spindle. Wider Web Turret Rewinders With Outboard Spindle Support

Glue-less Start Turret Rewinder The model ST 1000RW6 Turret Rewinder is designed for in-line production of various solid web materials-such as blown films. This turret employs a unique tucking method to start the web winding on a new core without the use of adhesives. The glue-less start is accomplished by means of a tuck bar and wrap roll assembly. The wrap roll assembly wraps the web around the core, and tuck bar tucks and places the web under itself and on top of the core.
